The apparent low bidder is WM. Mueller & Sons, Inc. (Hamburg, MN). The contract will be considered for award on 4-20-2021. Bituminous Pavement Rehabilitation Project. Bituminous Pavement 19,391 TON Milling of Bituminous Surface 156,457 S.Y. Full Depth Reclamation 3,311 S.Y. Concrete Curb 3,578 L.F. Concrete Walk 18,551 S.F. Striping 31,413 L.F. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond, cash deposit, certified bank letter of credit or certified check made payable to the City of Shakopee, Minnesota, in the amount of 5 percent of the total bid amount, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into the proposed contract within the time specified and at the price bid. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 45 days from the date of opening of bids. Construction shall be substantially complete in Area D by July 16, 2021. Construction along Hansen Ave and Crossing Blvd in Area C shall not commence until July 19, 2021. The Shakopee City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any defects or technicalities in bidding and to determine whether a bid is responsive or non-responsive. The City Council further reserves the right to make a bid award to the lowest and most responsible bidder as determined by the City Council.
