Site work and new construction of a fire / police facility in Centerville, Ohio. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade fire / police facility.
Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guarantee and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code and in the forms prescribed in O.R.C. Sections 153.57 and 153.571. Bidders must comply with Ohio's prevailing wage laws (O.R.C. 4115) and wage rates established pursuant to that law for Montgomery County as determined by the Ohio Division of Commerce's Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration. The Township will award the Project to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder; however, the Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive any informalities or irregularities in any bid received and to conduct such investigation as necessary to determine the responsibility of the bidder. Any bid received after the above referenced time and date will be returned to the submitter unopened. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, supervision, administration, financing and insurance necessary to perform the work specified in the specifications. The Contractor shall at all times observe and comply with all such laws, ordinances, regulations, orders, and decrees, and shall protect and indemnify the Township and its representatives against any claim or liability arising from or based on the violation of any such law, ordinance, regulation, order, or decree, whether by itself or its employees. The Contractor agrees that in the hiring of employees for the performance of work under this contract, the Contractor shall not by reasons of race, sex, creed or color, discriminate against any person in the employment of labor or workers, who are qualified and available to perform the work to which the employment relates.
