The work for which bids are asked includes the following:
Reconstruct the existing parking lot consisting of excavation, 5,400 SY of geotextile fabric, 3300 ton of breaker run, 2,800 ton of dense graded base, 1,100 ton of asphalt pavement and 2,400 linear feet of pavement markings.
Construct approximately 6,400 SF of concrete sidewalk and 600 LF of concrete curb & gutter.
Install site amenities such as benches, kiosk, wheel stops and signs.
Renovate the existing restroom/shower building to provide ADA compliance. Work to include demolition, masonry, doors, painting, plumbing and electrical
Other associated tasks including but not limited to: erosion control, traffic control, turbidity barrier, tree removal, erosion mat, rip rap, site restoration and seeding. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. BIDDER is required to deliver the original certified check or bid bond within the 72 hours of bid opening to MSA Professional Services, Inc., Attn: Daniel Rammer, 1500 N. Casaloma Drive, Suite 100, Appleton, WI 54913. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages. No bid may be withdraw within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Pursuant to Section 66.0903, Wisconsin Statutes, the minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by State wage rates. OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
