Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Fox Lake, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The work for which bids are asked includes the following approximate quantities: Contract A - Mill Road Mill & Overlay Project: 3,700 SY of milling, regrading & replacing the existing roadway surface with new 5 inch thick asphalt pavement; 4,400 LF of pavement markings, reshaping & recompacting the base material along with traffic control, gravel shouldering, driveway restoration, installation of speed hump, surface restoration, cleanup and related miscellaneous construction. Contract B - Weed Street Storm Sewer Replacement Project: 180 LF of storm sewer replacement (piping ranging between 15" to 24" in size), 160 LF of concrete curb & gutter replacement, 250 SY asphalt pavement replacement along with storm structure replacement, driveway restoration, concrete sidewalk restoration, surface restoration, cleanup and related miscellaneous construction. Contract C - Seminary Street Mill & Overlay Project: 580 SY of milling, regrading & replacing the existing roadway surface with new 4 inch thick asphalt pavement; reshaping & re-compacting the base material along with traffic control, surface restoration, cleanup and related miscellaneous construction. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid, payable to the OWNER as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. BIDDER is required to deliver the original certified check or bid bond within the 72 hours of bid opening to MSA Professional Services, Inc., Attn: Jason M. Laue, 201 Corporate Drive, Beaver Dam, WI 53916. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed, and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the OWNER as liquidated damages. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Note that a portion of the project (Contract A) is partially funded by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP). OWNER reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Published by the authority of the City of Fox Lake.
