Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Smithfield Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; and playground / park / athletic field.
The work includes but is not limited to all labor, materials, tools, and oversite for mobilization, excavation, asphalt & stone walkway, post & rail fence, and lawn restoration. Smithfield Township reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions or to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of 60 days. Bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply to this contract. Immediately following the due date and time, all bids received through PennBid will be opened online and referred to the Smithfield Township for final award. An abstract of the bids received will be available to bidders on PennBid following the date and time that bids are due as indicated above. Questions may be submitted through PennBid's "Questions" tab on or before 10 a.m. Thursday, April 8, 2021. .
