Site work and paving for a road / highway in Smithfield Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Questions Due Date: Apr 9th 2024, 4:30 PM EDT Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's check, trust company treasurer's check or bid bond (in the required form) for ten percent (10%) of the bid total. Work generally includes double bituminous seal coats (oil & chip) along Reilly Road and a section of Elm Street. Oil and chip work includes two coats of asphalt seal coat, with the second coat applied immediately atop the first. The first coat is to be done with 1/2" clean stone, with the second coat to be with 1/4" clean stone. Work also includes the application of single bituminous seal coats over areas of base repair along Lengle Road and Golf Road after such repair work is completed (initial base repair is separate from this maintenance contract). Based on project classification by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry, the work under this contract is classified as maintenance, and therefore does not require prevailing wage rates. Jackson Township hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any and all bids and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects or irregularities in any bid at its sole discretion.
