Renovation of a medical facility in Calgary, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
As part of the Calgary Cancer Project (CCP) an enclosed pedestrian walkway is being constructed to provide physical means of connecting people and material from the Calgary Cancer Centre to the other parts of the FMC. This pedestrian walkway is referred to as the "Connector" and is being delivered by the Province. As a result of the physical integration of the Connector, several interior renovations are required on the third floor of the FMC Main Building to optimise use of the Connector. This RFP is for a CM Agreement for expanding an existing exterior corridor, the McCaig Link, from the Main Building to McCaig Tower, which will provide a new exterior corridor for separation of public pedestrian traffic and hospital service traffic, in addition to renovating the third floor clinical wing of the Main Building.
