Renovation of a water / sewer project in Shenandoah, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The major items of work include: The removal and replacement of the motor control center, autosensory controls, rehabilitation of hydrotank, and all other necessary appurtenances. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond from a reliable surety company drawn to the order of City of Shenandoah in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid. No bid proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to it. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance, payment, and maintenance bond for the full amount of the contract. If offer is accepted, CONTRACTOR shall achieve Date of Substantial Completion within 200 calendar days after Date of Commencement of the Work, subject to adjustments of Contract Time as provided in the Contract.
