Site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Shenandoah, Texas. Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; playground / park / athletic field; playground / park / athletic field; playground / park / athletic field; road / highway; road / highway; road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond from a reliable surety company drawn to the order of City of Shenandoah in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid. No bid proposal may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the bid opening date. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept the bid deemed most advantageous to it. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance, payment, and maintenance bond for the full amount of the contract. The major items of work include: Expanding the existing detention pond near Wellman Road. Other proposed improvements include sidewalks around the pond, a 100-foot pedestrian bridge, 50-foot pedestrian bridge, retaining walls, trees, three fountains, and electrical work. The Project Site is located: Near Pine Forest Dr Roundabout and Wellman Rd.
