Renovation of a water / sewer project in Fort Morgan, Colorado. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

This project primarily consists of furnishing and installing a concrete wet well, intake pipe, concrete foundation, pump station and building, along with associated electrical, plumbing, hvac, and pipe installation. All questions regarding this bid should go to Matt Underwood, Superintendent of Golf, Parks and Cemetery, at (970) 518-6308. Questions must be in writing and can be e-mailed to matt.underwood@cityoffortmorgan.com. The cut-off date and time for questions is February 16, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. It is the responsibility of the prospective bidders to contact Matt Underwood to verify receipt of questions. Based upon such inquiry, the City may choose to issue an Addendum. Estimated Project Cost: $900,000- to $1,000,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The project consists of: 1. Furnish and install a 1,600 GPM Watertronics pump station as detailed in the drawings. Electronic butterfly valves and mechanical seals will be required. 2. Furnish and install a 14' deep 72" diameter precast concrete wet well. 3. Furnish and install 80' of 24" CL200 PVC pipe for use as the intake pipe. Note: pond is lined with PVC liner. Include liner repair at intake pipe penetration. 4. Prepare site and pour foundation and slab for the pump station and building. 5. Coordinate construction of the pump station building with selected building contractor. Stick built is the preferred construction material for the building, but alternative construction materials will be considered options as well. 6. Provide pump station set and start services from a Watertronics factory authorized service provider. 7. Connect power to the pump station from the disconnect/meter (provided by contractor) on the side of the building to the pump station cabinet. The City will supply power to the disconnect/meter at the building. 8. Furnish and install approximately 650' of 10" DR13.5 HDPE as shown on sheet 3. Connect to existing PVC mainline at three (3) locations. 9. Furnish and install mainline isolation valves as shown on sheet 3. 10. Furnish and install 4" DR13.5 HDPE filter line as shown on sheet 3. 11. Contractors and sub-contractors will be responsible for hauling off excess spoils, any soil and compaction reports, and any necessary permits required for the scope of the project.
