Asphalt sealcoat double application of approximately 63,035 SY of CRS-2PM (E-3M) Polymer-Modified Cationic Emulsified Asphalt with Type A, washed No. 8 coarse aggregate on various Township roadways. Contractor shall be responsible for street sweeping roadway surface prior to application, traffic control, and street sweeping excess stone from the road following application. Bids must be made on forms furnished by the Township and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, issued by a Surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the amount of at least (10%) of the total price bid made payable to the Township. Bidder shall verify compliance with the Public Works Employment Verification Act . The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Insurance; Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of One Hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price; and a Maintenance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price; with a corporate surety licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and approved by the Township, in accordance with bid specifications.
