Site work for a road / highway in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Design plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Realignment of the Ben Hur tie-in at Nicholson Drive to eliminate the skewed intersection. Close the current at-grade crossing at FETI. Close and replace the existing at-grade crossing at the current Ben Hur alignment location. No turn lanes on Nicholson Drive at this time as this corridor will be redesigned as part of the MOVEBR program project. The MOVEBR Transportation and Infrastructure Improvements Program is the most significant transportation infrastructure investment in East Baton Rouge Parish history. The 1/2 cent sales tax proposition was approved by the voters of East Baton Rouge Parish on December 8, 2018. The tax became effective on April 1, 2019 and will continue for 30 years until March 31, 2049.
