Renovation of an educational facility in Mansfield, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 3,238-square-foot educational facility.
Project has been Rebid As of July 20 2021 It's already been rebid so at this time, we don't foresee the owner rebidding this project. General Construction: Renovation of existing cosmetology laboratory and classroom. Work includes stud and gypsum board interior partitions; doors, door frames and hardware; acoustical ceiling tiles and grid; cabinets and casework, furniture, salon equipment, floor coverings, painting, wall tile and vinyl wall covering, interior signage and other related work. Plumbing Work: Includes new fixtures, associated piping, core drilling and excaving as required to serve renovated cosmetology lab and new sink. HVAC Work: Includes new air devices and associated ductwork and some minor demolition demolition of some existing HVAC items. Electrical Work: Electrical work consists of, but not limited to demolition of power, lighting devices, light fixtures, and technology devices. New work consists of power to new receptacles (surface raceway where required, salon equipment, styling stations, and student salon desks. Also, new LED lighting throughout the cosmetology lab space controlled by occupancy sensors, and low voltage switches. Technology Work: Technology work consists of, but not limited to demolition of current technology systems. New work consist of cat6 cabling to new wall outlets for network connectivity from Main Telecommunications Room. Also supply of new Interactive Flat Panel, Mobile cart for interactive flat panel, salon sound system, camera, and cabling between devices through the cosmetology lab and theory room. A Bid Security in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, irrevocable letter of credit, or surety company bond pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised code in the amount of 10% of the total bid shall accompany each bid; or a bid guaranty bond in accordance with Chapter 153.571 of the Ohio Revised Code in the amount of 100% of the total bid shall accompany each bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities, irregularities and/or errors in the bids to the extent permitted by law. This includes the right to extend the date and time for receipt of bids.
