A firm timeline for construction has not been disclosed. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The project is located at Sitka National Historical Park, Alaska. The work area is the includes, part of the sidewalk along Lincoln Street, the coastal/intertidal zone parallel to Lincoln Street and a portion of the landscaped area near the Visitor Center. The surrounding area is the City and Borough of Sitka with limited staging in the park. The City and Borough of Sitka, Alaska has constructed a Seawalk that has improved safe, multi-modal circulation between its downtown waterfront facilities and the western boundary of Sitka National Historical Park. This project will complete the Seawalk from the park's western boundary to the Visitor Center. Work includes but is not limited to: elevated boardwalk with wooden decking, concrete walkway, rockery wall and stairs, reconstruction of sidewalk, tree removal, gravel pathways, and signage and wayfinding. All work is within the Coastal Management Zone and some is within the coastal bank and beach. The construction magnitude is $500K - $1M The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time
