Renovation of a residential development in Sitka, Alaska. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
The Alaska Housing Finance Corporation is seeking for quotes for the exterior painting of one (1) 3-story residential building structure and one (1) Storage shed at 404 Lake Street Sitka, AK 99835. Estimated Amount of Proposed Contract: $25,000 to $100,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. Question Deadline and Submittal location: DATE: Sept. 21, 2023 PREVAILING TIME: 4:00 PM EMAIL: submittals@ahfc.us This project consists of the exterior painting of one (1) 3-story residential building structure and one (1) Storage shed. The property address is at 404 Lake Street, Sitka, Alaska 99835. A. The completion date for this contract is on or before May 31, 2024. B. Work will be done Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am and 8:00 pm. With weekend work allowed as needed as this is weather dependent work. All surfaces of cedar siding to be painted will require pressure washing to be thoroughly cleaned of peeling, loose and blistered paint, exposing any bare wood or cedar siding and shall be free from dirt, dust, grease and other foreign matter. Sanding, wire brushing, scraping are acceptable methods of cleaning. Exposed wood surfaces shall be spot primed prior to painting per paint manufacturer's recommendations. Replace any broken cedar siding, rotten corner boards and any damaged dryer vent covers. Re-caulking of all cedar siding joints or siding cracks with a paintable caulk. Paint colors: 1. Siding Color -Benjamin Moore, Palladian Blue HC-144 2. Trim/Soffit Color - Benjamin Moore, Snow White OC-66 All soffits to be painted. Contractor to clean up the site after completion of the project. The paint to be used is for the main exterior of the buildings. Jerrid Warner will be the Contract Administrator for this work.
