Notice Content LEGAL NOTICE FOR PRESTRESSED BOX BEAM BRIDGE RENOVATION The Board of County Commissioners are accepting sealed bids until 11:15 a.m. on April 15, 2021 for the renovation of a bridge project. Bridge WAS-101-13.47 on Bay Road over Clear Creek in Washington Township requires a successful bidder to fabricate, transport and install prestressed box beams with all guard rail posts attached as well as install tie rods, bearing pads etc. The bidder shall meet all specifications listed in the bid documents and complete all work at the lowest cost for all required items. Bids for the bridge project must be mailed or hand delivered to the Board of County Commissioners, 209 South Blackhoof Street, Suite 201, Wapakoneta, Ohio 45895 in a sealed envelope marked "Bid for Auglaize County Prestress Box Beam Bridge Project" Complete specifications and bid forms can be picked up at the Auglaize County Engineer's Office. The same information can also be found and printed online at http://www2.auglaize county.org/elected-officials/ engineer/bid. Addendums for the bid document, if any, will be posted on the website by noon April 8, 2021. It is the bidder's responsibility to check for any addendums that may have been added. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and or all bids. Bid from non-responsible contractors will be rejected. Deep beam guardrail (DBR2-73) shall be supplied by the contractor for installation by Auglaize County crews. All work will be in accordance with these plans and specifications.
