Site work and paving for a road / highway in Shelby, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The City of Shelby staff has completed evaluating the 2021 Street Resurfacing Program and paving contractors are invited to submit sealed bids for the City of Shelby's 2021 Street Resurfacing Program. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond will be required in an amount equal to 100 percent of the Contract Sum, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the Contract and upon payment of all persons supplying labor and furnishing materials for the construction of the project. Additional information may be obtained by contacting Justin Wright, Civil Engineer at 824 West Grover Street or by calling (704) 484-6840. The undersigned agrees that, if awarded the Contract, he will commence the work within fourteen (14) calendar days after the date of receipt of written Notice to Proceed, and that he will complete the work within 120 calendar days thereafter. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
