Site work for a mixed-use development in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
Each bid must be accompanied by a cashier's or bank check or Bid Guarantee Bond in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the BID made payable to Hamilton County Department of Education (Owner), and subject to the conditions provided in the instructions for bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish acceptable Performance and Payment Bonds in amount of one hun- dred percent (100%) of the contract price, each bond. The contractor shall comply with all State, Federal, and Local laws and/or regulations. The Hamilton County Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or any part thereof, to waive technicalities and informalities, and to award a contract to other than the low bidder. This project includes removal of existing topsoil, debris, grass, and existing goal posts. The Contractor shall laser grade the field, install Bermuda sod, irrigation system, erosion control measures, and new goal posts for a renovated football field at Normal Park Upper School (located at 1219 W. Mississippi Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37405). Work shall include all labor, supervision, equipment, and all other incidentals to renovate the football field. Contractor shall verify the location of all utilities and coordinate any utility relocations with utility companies and/or Hamilton County Department of Education. Contractor shall submit "as-built" drawings as part of the close-out documentations. A subsurface drainage system shall be bid as Alternate #1
