TOWN OF PITTSFIELD - BROWN COUNTY, WISCONSIN 2021 ROAD PROJECT LIST AND SPECIFICATIONS Hot Oil Chip Seal Coating NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Town Board of the Town of Pittsfield, Brown County, Wisconsin will accept quotes for culvert replacement and Hot Oil Chip Sealing on the following Town roads: Stone, Grind and Seal Coat 1.Meadow Drive 1,795 feet by 18 feet. Add 4 inches of gravel (730 tons), pulverize 8-inch depth, grade, compact, apply a double hot oil chip seal coat. Sweep and vacuum excess stone. 2.Shady Lane Drive •1,320 feet by 18 feet. Add 4 inches of gravel (540 tons), pulverize 8-inch depth, grade, compact apply a double hot oil chip seal coat. Sweep and vacuum excess stone. 3.Briar Drive •1,850 feet by 16 feet. Add 4 inches of gravel (670 tons), pulverize 8-inch depth, grade, compact apply a double hot oil chip seal coat. Sweep and vacuum excess stone. 4.River Lane Drive •530 feet by 16 feet. Add 4 inches of gravel (200 tons), pulverize 8-inch depth, grade, compact apply a double hot oil chip seal coat. Sweep and vacuum excess stone. Seal Coat with Spot Patching 1.Pine Ridge Court •Cold mix asphalt wedging around north side of bulb. Wedging to fill potholes. Seal Coat 1.Angle Drive •Single hot oil seal coat 900 feet x 20 feet (Town of Pittsfield) •Single hot oil seal coat 10,600 feet x 20 feet (Town of Maple Grove) 2021 Specifications for Hot Oil Chip Seal Coating •The seal coating will be done with a 340-degree 5% cutback ac blend asphalt and a 100% fractured washed chip. Both asphalt and aggregate will be applied full width in one pass. The finished seal coat will be rolled with a duo-packer roller. •All driveways shall be cut back and transitioned to 7% maximum grade. •All prices will include sweeping and or vacuuming of excess aggregate. •Unit prices are to be given for culvert, gravel, pulverize and hot oil chip seal. •Prices for each road shall be provided separately. •Bidders must have a minimum of five years of experience in hot oil seal coating.
