Renovation of a water / sewer project in Little Rock, Arkansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

For the construction of the Ozark Point Water Treatment Plant Improvements - Phase I - Clearwell Painting and Modifications. Any bid submitted shall be accompanied by a cashier's check or certified check upon a national or state bank in an amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price payable without recourse to Central Arkansas Water, or a bid bond in the same amount from a licensed surety company payable to Central Arkansas Water, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and execute performance and payment bonds and provide insurance as required by the bid documents within ten (10) days after notice of award of a contract for this project. Bids will only be accepted from properly licensed entities obtaining bid documents and addendums directly from the Project Engineer. Each Bidder must comply with the requirements, terms, and conditions of the Arkansas Natural Resources Commission, the Disadvantaged, Minority and Women Business Enterprise (DBE/MBE/WBE) requirements, the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2014 (Public Law 113- 76) including the "American Iron and Steel (AIS)" requirement, Labor Standards, and Equal Employment Opportunity provisions during the performance of this contract. Davis Bacon Act wage rules shall apply. Any contract or contracts awarded under this invitation for bids will be subject to the requirements of the Arkansas Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) Programs as described in the contract documents. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, creed, age, physical handicap, disability, genetic information, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, political opinions, political affiliation, religion, sex, national origin. Bidders on this work will be required to comply with the President's Executive Order 11246, as amended. The requirements for Bidders and Contractors under this order are explained in the specifications. Bids must remain in effect for 60 days after the bid opening date. Within 60 days from the bid date, Central Arkansas Water may award the contract to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder or reject any or all bids for the project. Central Arkansas Water reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bids and bidding deemed to be in the best interest of Central Arkansas Water, and to reject nonconforming, nonresponsive, or conditional bids.
