This project constructed a new Festival Plaza along Crockett Street from Market Street east to the Fant Parkway. It was necessary because casino development required the space formerly used for numerous public festivals and gatherings. Work included the renovation of the old Illinois Central railroad station on the site. This project is included in the City of Shreveport's FY 2021-2025 CIP. As of October 20, 2021, information regarding a design team or a general contractor is not available.
