Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a transportation facility in Imperial, California. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; for outdoor lighting for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.
The proposed project generally includes reconstructing Taxiway B4/C5 pavement. Taxiway edge lights would be relocated to accommodate the new pavement tapers on Taxiway B4/C5. New pavement markings would be installed on Taxiway B4/C5. Each proposal must conform and be responsive to the contract documents and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total maximum proposal price for the contract in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Preparation of Proposal. The bidder understands that proposal guaranty shall be in the form of a bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of this bid in accordance with the subsection titled BID GUARANTEE of Section 20; the proposal guaranty shall become the property of the Owner in the event the Contract and bond(s) are not executed within the time above set forth, as liquidated damages for the delay and additional expense to the Owner caused thereby. The Contractor must have a Class A license to perform this work. The Contractor shall have and shall maintain the proper Contractor license from award of contract through contract acceptance (per Public Contract Code § 10164). Any subcontractors contracted by the Contractor shall not have been involved in the design process or on the design team. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities in the proposal, and to reject any and all proposals.
