Remodeling of an educational facility in Huntington, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the remodel of a 880-square-foot educational facility.
As of November 16, 2021, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. All technical questions must be submitted in writing to Angela White Negley via email at negley4@marshall.edu by 9:00 a.m.,on Wednesday, October 19, 2021. The Project consists of renovations to Classroom 266A located at the Science Building on the Marshall University campus in Huntington, WV. The building physical address is 1705 Third Avenue, Huntington WV. The 880 sf room will have remodeling work including selective demolition, new flooring, paint, suspended ceilings, LED lights, power, data, rework of HVAC ducts, sprinkler piping, and minor metal stud and gypsum board wall construction. The room will be outfitted with existing items currently stored on campus by the Owner. Those repurposed existing items include wood laboratory benches, wall casework, epoxy tops, articulating exhaust snorkels, and ducted fume hood. Bond Bid(5%), Performance(100%), Payment(100%) Liquidated Damages $500 each day The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in the bidding and to reject any or all bids.
