The Town of Fremont is correcting the previous request for bids that was published and is replacing it with the following: Town of Fremont, Clark County, is requesting sealed bids from qualified vendors for the following Local Road Improvement Project (LRIP). The Town of Fremont reserves the right to accept or reject any or all of the bids and to accept any bid that it deems most advantageous to the Town of Fremont. This is a Town Road Improvement (TRI) Project. Completed Project must meet approval of Town Board and Engineer. Project bid as one lump sum bid for the following items including all materials, labor, equipment and incidentals to complete project: Recondition (3) miles starting at Catlin Avenue north to Bobwhite Rd, west to Meridian Ave, in sections 6-7 in the Town of Fremont. Excavate existing ditch to Town approved typical cross section consisting of an average of approximately 2:1 in-slope, 6 flat bottom and 1:1 back-slope; approximately 31,380 linear ft. Excavate and grade existing roadway to Town approved typical cross section consisting of approximately 2 shoulders and 22 traveled way, 26 total width Excess material (stumps, trees, rocks and muck) not meeting approved material shall be hauled off site. Spoils shall not be placed in wetland Supply, apply, compact and grade approximately 8,715 Cubic Yards of crushed granite. Project shall be completed by September 1, 2021; $100 per day penalty will be accessed if not completed. Town will obtain any necessary permits.
