**As of June 18, 2021, this project has been awarded to DiRocco Bros., Inc., in the amount of $335,737.85. The project consists of work along Boot Road in West Goshen Township, Chester County, PA from the Greenhill Road intersection to the Carriage Drive intersection, as shown on the plans. Work consists of milling/paving, signing and pavement marking, and signal upgrades (timings) at the Boot Road/Greenhill Road and Boot Road/Wilson Drive intersections. Timing upgrades are also being implemented to the signal coordination system that includes the two traffic signals at the SR 202 interchange. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of West Goshen Township, or a Bid Bond in favor of West Goshen Township in the amount of 10% of the bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. Clarification Deadline: 4/30/2021 4:30 PM The Bidder's attention is called to the fact that the State Prevailing Wage applies to this Contract and that the successful Bidder shall pay no less than the Prevailing Wage Rates determined for the project area as set forth in the Contract Documents. No bid may be withdrawn within twenty-four (24) hours prior to the time of the bid opening or within sixty (60) days after the date of the bid opening. Award of Contract, if a Contract is awarded, will be to the lowest responsible bidder. West Goshen Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities.
