Bids will be accepted for the following items: 1) Unit Prices for No. 8 Aggregate Bidders must be approved by the Ohio Department of Transportation as an approved producer supplier according the Office of material Management for the applicable items being bid. Each bid for the 2021 Unit Prices for No. 8 Aggregate Unit Price Contract must be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form shall be in the full amount of the bid. The bond must be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Bid security furnished in the form of a certified check or cashier's check, shall be equal to 5% of the bid. Checks should be made payable to the Board of Clark County Commissioners. Failure to submit a proper Bid Guaranty will automatically invalidate the bid! Bidders must submit the following: Bid bond, Non-Discrimination Provision, Non-Collusion Bid Affidavit, Affidavit 3517, Personal Property Tax Statement. The successful bidder must also submit a contract bond and meet the County's insurance requirements (requirements are included in the bid package). Please Note: the County is exempt from all Federal, State, Local and/or Excise Taxes. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any defect in a bid, which does not materially alter the bid document.
