Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Moreno Valley, California. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.

This project consists of constructing a 6' to 10' wide AC or PCC as an alternate bid, multi-use trail with 5' wide decomposed granite as pedestrian path as shown on plans, starting at Iris Avenue, approximately 400 feet east of Perris Boulevard, extending southeasterly to the Krameria Avenue and Kitching Street intersection and to El Potrero Park by way of Camino Bellagio and Via Pamplona. The multi-use trail consists of mixed or shared bike path and pedestrian walkway. It features a pedestrian hybrid beacon otherwise known as HAWK at Iris Avenue. A pedestrian "scramble" signalized crossing will be installed at Krameria Avenue/Kitching Street, as well as segmental retaining walls and curbs. The project is adjacent to the Department of Water Resources' 10-foot diameter water line facility and traverses through Val Verde Academy, Mary McLeod Bethune Elementary School, and El Potrero School by the parks bearing the same name. The work to be done consists of furnishing all labor, materials, necessary tools and machinery, supervision, traffic control, regulatory compliance, and all utility and transportation services required for the construction of Juan Bautista De Anza Historic Corridor - Segment 1, Multi-Use Trail Improvement Plan. The Project includes but is not limited to: Construction of new 6-foot to 10-foot wide multi-use trail and 5-foot wide decomposed granite pedestrian path for cyclists and pedestrians Construction of driveway accesses and curb ramps Sawcut full-depth asphalt concrete as well as grind and overlay AC pavement at driveway locations Installation of a pedestrian hybrid beacon system across Iris Avenue Coordination on the modification of signalized intersection at Krameria Avenue and Kitching Street (additive alternate) Construction of retaining curb, wall, aluminum edging, and PCC sidewalk Installation of traffic striping, pavement markers, legends and markings Various grading, excavation and utility adjustment work All steel specified as part of this document shall adhere to Caltrans' "Buy America" provision. 2301-70-77-80001 25 - 28 23 - 29 23 - 24
