Bidders are hereby notified that they must be properly licensed as required by Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes. Should less than three bids be received, the project will have to be re-advertised. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bidding and to reject any or all proposals. For technical questions regarding this project, please submit questions in writing to Darren Redfield at darrenmr@cityofws.org for response to all by addendum. End of Question Period is 5:00 PM, April 28, 2021. M/WBE goals apply. Construction beginning late July 2021. The purpose of this conference is to summarize the scope of work involved and to explain the City's Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprise (M/WBE) goals and program related to this project. Staff will be present to answer questions. A sign-in sheet will serve as the attendance record. Prime bidders and subcontractors are encouraged to attend to learn about the project scope and to discuss M/WBE outreach efforts.
