A general contractor has been awarded. Construction is expected to begin in August 2021. The original solicitation is included below: 1. General Description The City of Alpharetta is requesting proposals from qualified firms or team that are familiar with the design / build process for the design and construction of a scramble crosswalk to improve pedestrians' safety and accessibility in our Downtown at the intersection of Milton Ave. and Canton St. The firm or team to whom the Contract is awarded will be responsible for creation of the design and construction of the project. The work is entirely within the City of Alpharetta. 2. Scope of Work Firms giving a response to this RFP are asked, at a minimum, to state their understanding of this project and their experience with similar projects. The proposal must offer the method for meeting the criteria noted in this RFP. A.
