Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Normal, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
**As of April 30, 2021, this project has been awarded to H.J. Eppel & Co, Inc. in the amount of $1,119,265.70. This project consists of furnishing all work necessary for the completion of milling and hot mix asphalt overlay, along with necessary incidentals, on various width streets in the Town of Normal, Illinois. The proposed improvement consists of the following approximate quantities: 34,593 SY Hot Mix Asphalt Surface Removal, 2 1/4 "; 23,500 pounds Bituminous Materials (Tack Coat); 11,050 feet Longitudinal Joint Sealant; 1,453 tons Polymerized HMA Binder Course, IL-4.75, N50; 2,907 tons HMA Surface Course, Mix C, N50; 2,100 feet Combination Concrete Curb and Gutter Removal and Replacement; adjustment or replacement of 51 water and sewer structures; and all other items required to complete the project according to the plans and specifications. This is a prevailing wage project. The Town of Normal reserves the right to reject any or all bids received. The bid award will be made by the Town Council and their decision will be final.
