Site work and renovation of a civil project in Sarita, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
As of May 17, 2021, bids remain under evaluation. An exact date for an award to be made has not been disclosed. The project consists of the construction of two (2) public/private water service, two (2) public/private sewer service, WWTP lift station improvements, WWTP pond pump & piping improvements, and WWTP pond liner improvements in accordance with the contract documents, technical specifications, and plans. Both fees represent reproduction costs and are non-refundable. We reserve the right to process checks electronically by transmitting the amount of the check, routing number, account number, and check serial number to your financial institution. A bid bond by an acceptable surety, in the amount of 5% of the bid amount shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to the Owner or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The project to be constructed will be financed with assistance from the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program and is subject to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. Attention is called to the fact that not less than, the federally determined prevailing (Davis-Bacon and Related Acts) wage rate, as issued by the Texas Department of Agriculture Office of Rural Affairs and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project. In addition, the successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin. Adherence to the grant recipient's Section 3 Policy is required for contracts and subcontracts in excess of $100,000.00. Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit bids. Bids may be held by the County for a period not to exceed 60 days from the date of the bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the bidder's qualifications prior to the contract award.
