Judicial Parking Lot As part of the City's Capital Improvement Program, we are looking to construct a 48-space parking lot located on the property at 2050 Ringling Boulevard. This project includes the construction of the parking lot as well as installing the associated landscaping, irrigation and lighting. These technical specifications provide details of the proposed construction (work) as shown on the drawings titled "Construction Plans for the Judicial Parking Lot" by Progressive Water Resources (ENGINEER) dated January 2020 and revised July 2020 (Appendix 1). The work is proposed for the City of Sarasota (CITY). The CONTRACTOR shall pay the sum of one thousand two hundred and forty-five dollars ($1,245.00) per calendar day liquidated damages for each and every day delay over and above the number of calendar days prescribed for completing the work. The number of days to complete the project will be 90 days from the City's Notice-to-Proceed to substantial completion. Final completion will be 10 days from substantial completion for a total project time of 100 days from the City's Notice-toProceed. Additional lead time from Contract award may be added for equipment and materials as approved by the CITY. The CONTRACTOR will be required to provide documentation form the supplier of the lead time requirements. Work in different locations may be done simultaneously as long as notification thresholds are maintained for proper inspection.
