CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 5/17/2021 4:00 PM Bid security in the amount equal to 10% of the base bid amount in the form of cash, certified good faith check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit drawn upon a bank authorized to do business in this Commonwealth, or by a bid bond with corporate surety made payable to or naming as obligee the Hamilton Township shall be submitted with each bid. Bidders shall upload a scanned copy of a fully executed bond as part of the online sealed bid submission. After the Bid Opening and upon request by the Owner, Bidder(s) shall provide an original hard copy of the Bid Bond. If providing security in the form of a certified check or bank money order, security must be delivered to the Owner prior to the Bid Opening date and time. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bonds in the forms provided in the bid specifications, each in the amount of not less than one-hundred percent (100%) of the awarded contract amount within 10 days of receiving notice of the bid award. This project is being funded in part by grants through the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania State Conservation Commission as a Dirt and Gravel Maintenance Program.
