Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Goochland, Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a 104,000-square-foot, two-story above grade educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The Work consists of the construction of a new elementary school including all site and site utility work. All questions must be submitted in writing by November 3, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. to both bill.bradley@stanctec.com and matthew.kavanaugh@stantec.com. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities in the bidding. The Bidder will be required to comply with non-discrimination regulations and to require suppliers and subcontractors to comply with such regulations also. Bidders may inspect the site during normal business hours by contacting the Owner at (804) 556-5360 to arrange the site visit. If awarded a Contract, the Undersigned agrees to complete the work by the date specified below, contingent on the Notice to Proceed being issued between December 13, 2022 and January 13, 2023. Bidders shall begin the Work within 30 days of receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Work is subject to liquidated damages. Substantial Completion shall be May 31, 2024. Final Completion shall be June 28, 2024. Liquidated damages shall be $1,500.00 per calendar day past Substantial Completion. Jobno- 21320
