The purpose of this Invitation for Bids is to solicit sealed bids from qualified Independent Contractors for brand name only new model Professional Building Systems Landfill Office located at 232 Shangri-La Road Bentonville, VA 22610. The period of performance of the resultant firm fixed price contract will begin on the day of issuance of Notice to Proceed, and continuing, if not otherwise terminated in accordance with the terms and conditions of this IFB, for 150 days. Direct all inquiries in writing to: Jeff Hayes, Project Manager at jhayes@warrencountyva.gov and Cc Alisa Scott, Deputy Finance Director at ascott@warrencountyva.gov prior to 2:00 p.m. on October 19, 2022. Any direct communication with other County employees is strictly prohibited. Bidders must submit their bid on the County's BID FORM attached to the specifications. There shall be no other alteration to the bid form. Failure to comply with these requirements shall be cause for rejection of bid. Any bid received after the due date and time, will not be considered and will be returned, unopened. The County reserves the right to waive formalities and to reject any or all bids.
