As of August 08,2023, project was awarded to JM Construction, awarded amount is $28,796.64. The Contractor shall furnish all materials, labor, equipment, and supervision to renovate the Park Managers residence kitchen and to make repairs to the crawl space. All materials and installation work shall comply with these specifications, and conform to the Virginia OSHA Standard, and the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Codes. Work is to be completed within thirty (30) days after award of purchase order. This solicitation is for a one-time renovation to include demolition, repair of damage, furnish and installation of various kitchen components, as well as mold remediation and repairs in the Park Manager's residence located on park grounds according to the solicitation documents. Award will be made on a grand-total basis. Work must be scheduled within seven (7) days after award purchase order is issued from the eVA Procurement System and completed within thirty (30) days after award. The purpose of this Invitation for Bids (IFB) is to engage a contractor to renovate the kitchen Park Manager's residence at Shenandoah River State Park and to make repairs to the crawlspace at said residence. Renovation will include various tasks--demolition, removal and disposal of construction materials, repairs, and replacement of items as outlined in the Scope of Work. The residence has experienced moisture-related issues that were discovered during replacement of the dishwasher. Affected areas include the kitchen and crawlspace.
