Site work for a civil project in West Kelowna, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and road / highway.
Excavation and slope regrading including removal of an existing stacked rock retaining wall. Supply and install of a MSE slope retention system including construction of a reinforced concrete levelling pad foundation supported by micropiles. Supply and install of a segmental block retaining wall. Culvert removal and reinstatement. Reinstatement of portion of driveway, including paving. Supply and install of a 100kJ temporary rock fall barrier. Clearing and grubbing. Revegetation seeding. The Site is located near the civic address 539 Westside Road, West Kelowna, BC, approximately 5.3 km north along Westside Road (No. 138) from the Hwy 97 and Westside Road interchange in West Kelowna, and approximately 1.5 km south of Bear Creek Provincial Park.
