Renovation of a transportation facility in Buffalo, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a transportation facility.
**As of July 30, 2021 This project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** Questions must be submitted in writing and received by Friday May 14, 2021 via email to sean.slagle@nfta.com. The project shall replace any of the existing and corroded conduit at track level and under the loading platform. Replacement shall include conduit and circuit wiring from the distribution point to the load. The conduit is from the original station construction and has significantly deteriorated in places. The conduit is run under the train platforms and in mechanical rooms. Utilities running between stations in the tunnels are not included. Proposals received after the date and time specified above for opening shall be considered late proposals and, therefore, shall not be opened and/or considered for award. The Contractor shall perform not less than 50% of the work with its own forces. The time of completion for the project is 170 calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Minority and Women Business Enterprises (MWBE) and Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses (SDVOB) participation is required. The participation goals for this contract are 1% MBE, 1% WBE and 0% SDVOB. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Minority Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 1% Women Owned Sub-Contracting Goal: 1% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Business Contracting Goal: 0%
