Site work for a water / sewer project in Crested Butte, Colorado. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Project includes the following Work: Lake Irwin improvements to replace aging dam outfall piping and valving including the existing intake structure, intake timber set tunnel, valve shaft, and outfall pipeline. The Town is currently considering two options for improvements, including complete replacement of all facilities and partial replacement leaving a portion of existing infrastructure in-place. The final system configuration will be selected as part final design. Proposals are requested for the following CMAR services Contract: Lake Irwin Valve and Piping Project Owner anticipates that the Projects total construction price will be approximately $1,600,000 and is dependent on final design decisions. This project is anticipated to be funded through a combination of Colorado Water Conservation Board funds, Colorado River District funds, and capital reserves. The Project is anticipated to be constructed in 2022 and shall be completed within one construction season occurring over a three (3) month period between June and November when site access is feasible. Proposals will not be accepted from Respondents who do not attend the mandatory virtual pre-proposal conference.
