Renovation of a water / sewer project in Westtown Township, Pennsylvania. Working plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
**As of 07/23/2021 bids were rejected due to not enough budget and planning to re-bid but no re-bid date eyt.** Westtown Township will receive sealed bids online for Contract 21-S2 Chester Creek WWTP Painting . The project involves painting of pipe and equipment at the Chester Creek Wastewater Treatment Plant. The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body under Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, must be paid to workmen employed on this project. A Pre-bid Conference will be held at the date, time and location indicated in Article 5 of the Instructions to Bidders provided online. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days of the date of the bid opening. Westtown Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities. Requests for clarification are due Friday, May 21, 2021 11:00:00 AM [(UTC-05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada)].
