Site work and paving for a road / highway in Westtown Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The contract for the project generally involves the labor, materials, services, and equipment necessary for pavement milling, base course repair, and pavement resurfacing on segments of Paine Dr, Casey Ln, Militia Hill Dr, Meadowcroft Rd, Meadowcroft Circle, and Brinton Lake Rd. PA prevailing wage rates are applicable. PA Act 127 (Public Works Verification Act) requirements are applicable. The selected bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond, Payment Bond, and Workman Comp Insurance. It is anticipated that the contract shall be awarded during the May 16, 2023 Thornbury Township Board of Supervisors Meeting. Bid bond or certified check in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount is required Contract time is 60 calendar days from Issuance of the Notice to Proceed. Thornbury Township reserve the right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof and, in general, to make awards in any manner deemed to be in the projects best interest.
