he work to be performed under this contract is located at 10425 Norden Ave. includes the furnishing of all labor, materials, equipment, transportation and services necessary for Mather Airport Critical Equipment Replacement Program Generator Replacement For Tower And Airfield Lighting. This Project will include the replacement of the existing backup power generators at the Airfield Lighting Vault and the Air Traffic Control Tower, as well as, make other airfield electrical infrastructure improvements. The project will also add a security fence to surround the Air Traffic Control Tower and make modifications to the existing fencing surrounding the Airfield Lighting Goals for minority participation for each trade: 16.1% Goals for female participation in each trade: 6.9% Each bid must be submitted on the proposal bid forms provided in the Contract Documents. Each bid must also be accompanied by security in the form of a bid bond/guaranty issued by a corporate surety, a certified check, or cashier's check payable to the Treasurer of Sacramento County, or cash for an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate sum of the bid. The County does not have a standard bid bond/guarantee form. The bid bond/guarantee form may be provided by the corporate surety. Bids not accompanied by a bid bond/guarantee will not be read and be rejected as non-responsive. The successful bidder shall be required to execute a Material and Labor Payment Bond and Performance Bond, issued by a corporate surety, acceptable to the County of Sacramento, each for not less than one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price.
