Renovation of a civil project in Fountain Valley, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The Project is located at 13 OCSD Pump Stations, PB 5 (see plans for locations). This Project will install connectors for Portable Emergency Generator Sets (EGS) at 13 pump stations and at Power Building 5 (PB 5) at Plant No. 1 to allow pumping of peak wet weather flow. The connectors are needed to provide the EGS to plug into the existing electrical system. For each Project location, there is currently either no permanent EGS or the existing EGS is not large enough to handle peak weather flows. Since the pump stations are subject to periodic power outages, having a temporary power option is essential.
