Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Winston Salem, North Carolina. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; for the demolition of a swimming pool; for the construction of a swimming pool; swimming pool; and water / sewer project.

This project will demolish the existing pool, part of existing concrete deck, fill the void with concrete/stone/dirt, and install a "splash pad" with mini water slide, Superwave, geysers and fountain spray features to be purchased by contractor. The scope of work also includes pumps, surge tank and controls for splashpad features, equipment room installations, concrete sidewalks, remove/reinstall fencing, landscaping. There are four bid alternates to include: brick seat wall/fencing/site furniture, landscaping/ seeding at entry drive, colored concrete splashpad and demolish entire pool deck/replace fencing/deck drain modifications/pressure washing/lights and ventilation. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities in the bidding and to reject any or all proposals. Bidders are hereby notified that they must be properly licensed as required by Chapter 87 of the North Carolina General Statutes.
