Brevard County Purchasing Services, on behalf of the Utility Services Department, is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to repair a 4" sewer lateral Deadline for Completion: Awarded Contractor will have 14 calendar days from the issued Notice to Proceed (NTP) to complete the work. Bid Bond Amount 5% Performance Bond Required No Awarded Contractor shall Furnish and Install the following: 1. Contractor to contact Sunshine 811 for utility locates prior to commencement of construction. 2. Maintenance of Traffic (M.O.T.) on North Courtenay Parkway during repair work per required F.D.O.T. permit. 3. 4-inch PVC lateral with traffic bearing cleanout covers per Detail US-13. 4. (2) 4-inch rubber FERNCO couplings with stainless steel rings. 5. Asphalt and base material replacement required for excavation per F.D.O.T. Specifications. Contractor to restore asphalt pavement to existing condition to assure proper drainage. 6. Dewatering as required for the approximately 6-foot-deep excavation area. Dewatering plan must be submitted to F.D.O.T. 7. Maintain sewer flows during the later pipe replacement. 8. Remove and replace 30 LF of concrete curb and gutter. 9. Miscellaneous removal and replacement of 20 SY of concrete sidewalk. 10. Remove and replace 10 SY of sod and replace any damaged or removed shrubs. 11. Backfill and compact excavated areas to correct densities. Density reports must be submitted to Utility Services. 12. Site lighting as this work will be done at night. 13. Utility Services Department to provide F.D.O.T. and County Public Works Right-of-Way permit to Awarded Contractor
