Renovation of a library in Geneva, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a library.
The Owner will receive bids for the construction of an alternative electrical power source for continued operations of the Library netword equipment. The Work will include: Install a double conversion type 20 kVA UPS system, with modifications to the electrical distribution system. Bids will be a single contract, stipulated sum. The Work will commence on Friday, May 28, 2021, and be performed such that the Project will be Substantially Complete as indicated in the Document 00 31 13 - Preliminary Schedule. A Bid security in the amount of 10 percent of the total Bid is required. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any errors, omissions or irregularities in the bids or the bidding procedure when, in the opinion of the Owner, such action will serve its best interests. Any bid which is not accompanied by the required bid security or by any other documents or certifications required by the Bidding Documents, and any bid which is in any way incomplete or irregular, is subject to rejection at the sole discretion of the Owner. Award of Contract: May 27,2021 B. Commencement of Construction: May 28, 2021 C. Substantial Completion: August 31, 2021
