Site work and paving for a road / highway in Zeeland, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of June 9, 2021 the project has been awarded to Curt DeJonge Excavating was the low bid for $129,315.00. The start and completion date has not yet been determined. The project consists of furnishing all material and constructing the following: Crush & shape approx. 4,850 ft of 8' wide HMA non-motorized pathway Crack seal approx. 20.8 miles of HMA non-motorized pathway network Remove & replace 350 sq.ft. of concrete block retaining wall Including all necessary appurtenances and restoration The work to be performed under this contract will be financed and paid for by funds received from Zeeland Charter Township. A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to Zeeland Charter Township in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price shall accompany each bid. This surety shall bind the bidder for a period of forty-five (45) days after the receipt of bids. The project shall be completed by October 1, 2021 or within forty-five (45) days of starting work, whichever comes first.
