Demolition, site work and renovation of an educational facility in Zeeland, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and for the demolition of a educational facility.
The Project consists of work at two buildings. Creekside MS involves misc. mech. demolition work and replacement of AHU and ductwork in Gymnasium and replacement of RTU above locker room area with new rooftop ductwork. Work also includes structural steel improvements where required at mechanical work. Roosevelt Elem involves partial and complete ceiling demo/replacement work to suit new UV and ductwork work in classrooms. Associated general trades, masonry , electrical and painting work also required. Alternate work to include kitchen MUA and EF work. Fire Alarm replacements and upgrading occurs at both buildings. Each bid shall be accompanied by a good and sufficient bid security or bid bond in an amount not less than 5% of the Bid amount and shall secure the Owner from loss or damage by reason of the withdrawal of the Bid by a Bidder or by failure of the successful Bidder to enter into a Contract with the Owner if his Bid is accepted by the Owner. The successful Bidder will be required to secure Performance, Labour and Material bonds for all contracts exceeding $50,000, from a surety company having a rating of A- or better, for the full amount of the Contract.
