The Orange County Fire Authority (OCFA or Authority) will receive sealed bids from qualified contractors for retaining wall replacement and foundation remediation at OCFA Fire Station 49 located at 31461 St. of Golden Lantern, Laguna Niguel, CA 92677. Pursuant to SB854, no contractor or subcontractor may be awarded a bid for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) per California Labor Code section 1725.5. This project is a public work and is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR. The project is for the complete construction, supply, and installation required in the project as required by the specifications in the bid, provided drawings, notes/documentation, and contract documents. Bidders are required to pay prevailing wage. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code 1771.4(c)(1) effective April 1, 2015. A Bid Bond and Performance/Payment Bond are required for this project.
