Sewage spills have an unfavorable effect on soil, water, and private property structures. Considering the City is seeing higher sewage volumes with growth in recent years, even short utility power outages have the potential to overflow a sewage well. The City's mandate is to eliminate the chance of overflows due to loss of utility power by installing a dedicated backup power diesel generator. This Request For Tenders is for the supply and install of a backup power generator and associated components at Liftstation 11, located at 101 Deweerdt Drive.
